Background on Intel Xeon W-3500 Series
Intel's Xeon W-3500 series is their top-end, single-socket processor line. Designed for heavily threaded and memory-intensive applications, these CPUs support eight-channel DDR5 memory, 112 PCI-Express lanes, and up to 60 CPU cores. This represents a modest core count increase from the previous W-3400 series and lower-cost W-2500, along with double the memory bandwidth and PCIe lanes compared to that lineup.
